Kingston Digital, a global designer of data storage and memory solutions, announces the release of a cost-effective SSD to extend V series. Codenamed Kingston SSDNow V, the drives are intended specifically for cost-conscious consumers looking to upgrade their desktop or mobile systems. Under the claimed data, the new drives are ten times faster than standard HDDs and feature outstanding speed characteristics, where the spindle achieves rpm.



Kingston SSDNow V is based on SandForce SF controller and employs SATA 3 interface. The manufacturer offers its new products in three variations of 60GB, GB and GB capacity. Due to the implementation of an updated NAND flash-memory, developed under 19 nm technological process, SSDNow can boast Mb/sec of consecutive Read/Write speed.
